Crane Service

Crane service

Crane Servicing/Routine inspections maybe carried out every 4/6 months at our purpose built modern premises ideally located 1 mile off Junction 28 M1. A report card is sent to each customer stating work done, plus any recommendations for further work that maybe required. You would also be informed when the crane is due for its next service inspection.
Our bespoke system ensures customers are fully aware of their cranes condition at all times, in addition we produce relevant documentation if required to show the crane has been maintained to an efficient standard on a regular basis. As part of our Backup up service, we also maintain a detailed file history on each crane.

Crane Testing

The Crane Inspection is an annual requirement to 10% overload to keep up with HSE Loler Regulations.According to legislation, a Crane should be inspected both, operationally and structurally every year in order to assess the Cranes condition and renew the report. After the Crane reaches 8 years of age, the HSE further advise a 6 monthly Thorough examination plus 110% static overload test.

A new certificate should be issued if a major structural repair, i.e. damage repairs have been carried out.
